Walleee
Mod downtube??I can't translate he french but I think there is a mention of it here - 'on note aussi une fixation au niveau du tube inférieur pour mettre y un sabot comme sur un 20" !'I like it
AdamR28
Yeah I'm guessing that was a mistake... Looks cool though.
Muel
the mount for the bashplate looks way too far up the tube to mount anything on to me, so it must just be because its a proto frame, so they left it a bit longer than if it were to be used for a mod when it came off the production line, before they fabricated this prototype. manuel
whats the difference between this and the production version as to me it looks pretty similar ?
Walleee
less gussets, does the current one have maggy mounts? I know kenney used (or uses) a maggy but i'm sure he get's whatever he wants......
Muel
Maggy only by the looks of it aswell.
Ashley Smith
dropouts look a bit different as well, looks better without all the gussets around the seat tube. no disc mount also, looks to be a proto rear hub as well.monty should shot peen then anodise frames!!!! would make the quality of the finish so much better!!!! walker
That looks so smart!! Love the back end on it. Really neat dropouts, purely singlespeed so there are no cable guides and less hose guides if its HS33 only. I want one! Haha.Andrew
NSE
Don't think the mount is a mistake. Think BIU rules, stock with bash could be on the drawing board. I bet that a stock with bash would appear at this years BIU WC's - looks like will loose unless on shows up in Japan.

Muel
If they were going to use a bash on stock, which is a good idea by the way, then I think they'd stick to the bashplate mounting design we already have. Then you'd only need one production line to make plates for Mods and Stocks. The mount looks way too far up the downtube to be for a plate if you ask me. Nick Manning
would be interesting to see a stock with a bash plate, although it is unesesary weight, looks like they have just mocked a frame up to me.............................When MAD were making trials bikes with Saracen they did a few with bash plates. This is one of them, you can see it has the fittings for a bash plate. From what I have found this is a 2003 model.
monkeyseemonkeydo
And Onza did it before then with the first style of T-Rex didn't they? Back in 2002/2003 sort of time. Maybe.
