wally
Right, ive made some videos in Premiere, video and sound quality is great, however the files are like 200-600mb. Should i be compressing through Premiere, or saving as a large high quality file and then using an aditional programme tom compess? If so what? Thanks for your helps. Captain Scarlet
I would imagine Adobe Premiere would be able to reduce the file size.I haven't used Premiere but if its anything like Vegas, I have the choice of file type and rate when I go to render the final edit "File>Render as" or "File>Save movie as" etc.Obviously the lower the rate the lower the quality of the video. It may also be in the initial settings before starting the project (things like aspect ratio, ect included). If its not any of those, check out some online Premiere guides or do the easy option of reducing the file size with another programme (unsure of what, a Google search should yield more answers than I can imagine). Greetings
File > export > adobe media encoderThat's a pretty good tool especially in CS3 since it has H.264 support.
Bondy
Depending on what file formats you are working with, i use AutoGK, its a really nice little piece of software to compress videos to a pre-defined size and the results are always within a couple of mb of what you want. I usually use divx codec aswell.
