Can I just use one of my old V brake levers or do I need something else?Sorry I should search really but I don't fine the search all that great.Cheers,John. HarshRider Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 lever wise i would go for a shimano, i use a old xt lever and its great. i used to use an avid sd7 and they just dont feel as comfortable as any of the shimano range.by the sounds of it your just looking for a cheap alternative for now, so any lever would work really.
