JonMack
The best brake I've ever used, and I've used loads, is my old Magura HS33 with Kool stop pads! They had loads of hold, yet were weak enough to let me do rolling endo's and stuff. Locked when needed though! That's the main problem, every single persons idea of a "best" brake is different. While koolstops may have worked for you, for a more technically demanding rider, they probably wont be up to the job. Not bashing your riding, but you know what i mean. Krisboats
3 lines- £32+ Heatsink CNC'ed coust= Happy daysHa ha, my cousts were awesome for a bit. I remember when i frist got them and my new maxxis tyre at the same time. Went to tap a wall and rear wheel was far too low, like on the vertical bit of the wall. The brake and tyre held enough for a correction hop up the rest of the way and i made it up no problemo. Pretty amazing really.
Captain Scarlet
Perfect would be; make a brake pad that can stop/dely rain, or make a brake pad that can adjust between wet and dry whether.

rudirudirudirudirudi
Under the same principles you listed... that also isn't possible.which is exactly why i put it. was sarcasm. thought i shouldve put a lol on the end or something. Its not a case of simplicity, it just isn't possible to create one perfect pad. There are too many outside variables that have to be taken into consideration, plus peoples differing opinions on the perfect pads features.
