Barbara Logan-Price
After being told by Dave (mrkoxx) that I was smart enough to come up with the perfect solution, Beth and I have been researching and developing a chemical formula to actually create what would be the perfect brake pad. We've now just got to figure out which catalyst you would need to add to the formula in order to not blow yer face off...Wreyy! p.s.the formula is currently about 5 pages long. we're nerds (:-Hannah and Beth!xhannah and beth ey koxx browns = perfect

TheCircus
Actually that's only the pu polymer formed by reacting a diisocyanate with a polyol...WITH SOLID SCIENCE LIKE THIS, YOU WILL NEVER FAIL.
Revolver
koxx browns = perfectLucky I've got some of those If they're perfect, are they perfect for smooth rims or light ground rims or medium ground rims or harsh ground rims, and do they work the best in the dry or the wet?You can't have them all
Krisboats
If you were really that smart you'd realise that working it out like that simply isn't possible

eskimo
I don't get it, your telling us that you worked for hours with maths to create the perfect pad? But you mention no future production or anything, or am i missing the point?

Captain Scarlet
Deng has done it all before, hence why my Echo pads are beast and have very little wear life.

Krisboats
it is possible!we tell yeeeee it's possible!the material used for it is the polyurathane polymer correct? and the equation up there, is just the formula for part of that, we just broke it down and found out the exact elements, compounds and ions its made of, and then when you balance it out it pretty much gives the perfect formula of the polyurathane polymer. And that's only a bit of it... (:Look at my signature Its not as simple as that. End of.
Hannah Shucksmith
we know it isnt thattttt simpleeee, cause we've only figured out like one part of itleave us aloneeee meanies.
rudirudirudirudirudi
i think we need more people like you on this forum!!!!. next job - work out the perfect length bike............................... you cant really invent a perfect because if you asked 100 people on what there perfect pad would be.....some would say something that holds amazing but doesnt bite and can be used on smooth rimsome would say heaps of bite and hold on a medium ground rim..the list would go on. so yeeeeeeeeeer........... keep going and maybe you will find the formula for a sick pad. but it'll only be perfect for some people Edited August 16, 2008 by rudirudirudirudirudi

There are too many outside variables that have to be taken into consideration, plus peoples differing opinions on the perfect pads features. Greetings
You're all wrong. The perfect pad would have three knobs on it for adjusting hold, bite and loudness.
Dr. Nick Riviera
Perfect brake pads are magura blacks. nobody's made a rim worth using them on yet.
Will Arnold
what criteria are you working with girls? i think the perfect pad is down to the type of riding you do, but if you can get a perfect pad for just one style of riding, then you're onto a winner! bikeperson45
I thought brake pads were just made of rubber. Why'd you need all this gibber gabber's about
MadManMike
The best brake I've ever used, and I've used loads, is my old Magura HS33 with Kool stop pads! They had loads of hold, yet were weak enough to let me do rolling endo's and stuff. Locked when needed though!
