manuel
no more 26" for rowan johns? really nice bike though worry not - the next two vids are going to be one on 26" one on 24" in parallel - hopefully very different in styles.Wow, a gyro?If they sell it as a complete bike, will it come with one?I don't suppose this is one of these?I'm also intrigued by this 'backwards' gear.I would be almost 100% sure it wouldnt come with a gyro as standard ... It is a new version of the bike Martyn has been riding.... (major change are the dropouts)The backwards gear is just a large TT spacer (probably with some tubing around soon) that is "over the top" so I can click into a neutral gear for going backwards without backpedaling - could be fun - and i have allready thought of a few uses ...But that gyro setup looks complicated :$It is .... it works pretty well - Ive had no leakage so far - I just need to work out a good way of bleeding it properly - its very air filled and spongy .... but thanks to the honking 180 rotor there is still way more power than is required ... should have said geo is 385 1020 - 1030 ish +20/5 ish bb so fairly ET shaped - and its lovely Edited August 16, 2008 by manuel

Luke Rainbird
Quick question - Am I being silly, or are there meant to be more than 2 pics up? I get driveside and non- full bike views, but the text seems to imply there should be more

Ross McArthur
Alot different looking than most 24"s thats for sure....the colour and disc set up I mean. Dont know if a paint job would just ruin it. Mighty fine set up Shame the brakes feel spongy with the gyro, I thought that may be a problem.Looking forward to seeing a new vid of the different 24" style. Will they be shot in new locations? As origional and smooth and as cool as you style is and being able to pull something different in the same places the locations your riding have all been seen before.....constructive criticism thats all. Rumplestiltskin
I was pretty sceptical about the paintjobs from pictures I'd seen, but that looks extremely nice in the flesh. Looking forward to the video
Brian Bleech
Looking nice Rowan, the frame looks properly proportioned. Will it be available as a frame only?
manuel
Looking nice Rowan, the frame looks properly proportioned. Will it be available as a frame only?yes I believe it will - probs in a toned down paintjob - bit like the picture of Sam Pilgrims bike I posted in the other thread ... there is a chance it will come as a frameset - so frame and forks - but I dunno. And yes - I did have to give up the gyro - unhappily as it could have been fantastic if an actual engineer designed it .... Rusevelt
Hate the geo (specifically chainstays, toptube length, headangle) but, the colour scheme is refreshingly sweet as and what is with the messed up youtube clip of Flavor Flav from Public Enemy?
