bikeperson45
I'm bored, with the holidays, I've got too much free time. So I want to build a civilization in the trees or underground tunnels.Anyone done this before? I don't have any wood and I've only got a rucksack for carrying stuff. JD™
Yes, tunnels have been built before. Dartmoor and Euro are two prominent ones.

Boswell
When I was 14 me and my mate put a couple of pallets up in a stupidly high oak tree then one day he fell and we kinda stopped! PS. I stole loads of electrical cable from my dad to get the pallets up there! Edited August 15, 2008 by Boswell

Max Quinn
In my old house (when i was <10) i had a civilisation at the end of the garden. I had a hollybush with a tree up the middle an we cut the middle out so it was a base with 2 doors (with camo nets over them) and a rope ladder up to a tree house in the middle. Then a zipline to my garage roof then a walkway to another tree. I wish i had photos

steve@banbury-trials
can i advise not to drill throught the tree branches as this could potential cause it to die back and fall apart, your be better of tieing stuff to the tree with the widest rope possible.and oww yeah, watch out for tree badgers ,a bloke at work lost a finger to one last month
