ogre
tryalls are awesome, wear life leaves a little to be desired, but they're performance =
N Roach
My favourite set is a try-all on the front and maxxis dual ply high roller. Thickness on the rear tyre is personal prev'.
basher
Maxxis, slow reeze if you ride natty often and want ultimate grip and not as bothered about wear. Super tacky if you ride street more and want bit more life but still great grip.
mike425
What basher said. I've been running a maxxis minion rear slow reezay compound for the last few weeks, the grip is awesome, but they dont last long at all. I've just replaced it with a super tacky and the grip is still great but seems to be lasting much longer

psycholist
I got 6 months out of a 2.5" Minion dual ply super tacky - fantastic grip, no pinch flats and the 6 month durability wasn't too bad either... Probably the best compromise between grip and longevity for me anyway...
Gandalf the Yellow
if you want something light... copy me and use nobby nic's on the front steve

joey vajda
I run single ply 2.35 maxxis minion front, good tread left. I run a 2 ply 2.5 maxxis minion super tacky, been riding since march with it, and the tread is starting to bald... still grips good though. Greetings
Tryalls if you're not concerned about weight. They do wear down quickly though.Other than that: Big Betty (not the Gooey compound, it's too soft) + thick DH tube
