Steve-A
I've also found the GPS great. As I said in my previous post its not 'sat nav' like you'd have in a car. You cant get it to read instructions to you.BUT it is full google maps, so you can search places, and see you position with respect to those places, with either road, satellite or hybrid maps. You can get directions to follow from your current location to any destination. So if, for example, you were walking round a new city trying to find a gig venue or something it can give you a line to follow on a map, or a set of directions and as your walking you can see a blue dot that represents you position moving along the map. crazy_gap girl
Isn't the Iphone going to 'pay as you go' at christmas?I don't think the Iphone is ready for consumer yet. It is still very business-y. I didn't know about how you have to send photos via email not mms, which is rather shit for me, as well as the ringtones. Hendrix
It is going PAYG. O2 Shop said November to me, which means December .I hope it does go to Orange, purely because I find O2 no where near as good, customer service wise, as Orange.Either way, PAYG is good... wonder how much they're going to charge for it £250? Tony Harrison
Isn't the Iphone going to 'pay as you go' at christmas?I don't think the Iphone is ready for consumer yet. It is still very business-y. I didn't know about how you have to send photos via email not mms, which is rather shit for me, as well as the ringtones.I wouldn't say it's 'business-y' at all. No doubt picture messaging will be added soon, via software update or app store. Why the obsession with ringtones? The whole idea is that you answer the phone when you hear it, thus ending the sound anyway. 99% of ringtones today are just embarassing, especially when someone leaves their phone on the desk and has to run, red-faced across the office to answer it because it's playing 50 Cent stupidly loud.
