SaC-PrO
I was out riding the other day and as i pulled my front brake it pulled out of my forks and took the threads with it. I run four bolt to v adapters so i was wanting to no if there was anything that i could do so that i dont have to stop riding until I get myself some new forks. Jitters
Sorry to hear you're without your ride for bit. Search for threads about installing helicoil kits. The process is cheap and has been gone over more than a few times recently. That'll get you back up to snuff in no time!Cheers!
Julius Czar
My friend has a t - pro and hes just had his back mounts heli coiled, and there working perfectly.so a helicoil kit is the best bet for this problem.
jack14366
Can't you just tap and die it ? Not an expert on the subject but when my threds go that's what I do , but not sure if they do one as big as a fork .but its worth going to halfords or any shop like that an enquirer about it this way you don't have to buy new forks.hope you get on ok with it Jack Edited August 19, 2008 by jack14366
