Horizontal Dropouts For Stock?

deng should have made 135mm horizontal and vertical drop out bikes instead of those mod-stocks

horizontal dropouts + snail cams are one of the main reasons for buying a koxx bike, tensioners are just some extra weight which you can fall on when making sidehops to the right side = 2-30min for repairing that "%€@

Theres always people who may still be running rear QR. In which case the skewer won't put enough tension in to keep the cams in place. Horizontal dropouts are ghey anyway, with my homemade tensioner i just stuck the wheel in and left it in. No adjusting, nothing to break. It was just done and sorted with. My wheel never moves, chain never goes slack and i don't have to make sure the wheel is in straight with the pads everytime i adjust it.

Horizontal dropouts aren't the greatest solution in the world, its just another option for those who may prefer it.

all the frames with horizontal dropouts are designed to be used with only one ratio.

This i feel is abit of a bugger with horizontal dropouts, i have been riding my coustellier with 18 - 15 which it is designed to run for the past 5 months but recently felt like trying 18 - 16, which does not work in the dropouts, as it is either to far into the dropouts and the wheel does not turn as it is up agains the yoke, or it is out the back of the dropouts so i have had to make a tensioner to run it.

I seem to prefer the gearing too, so in my oppinion horiontals are good to the extent where you don't plan on changing anything like gear ratio etc, when you start altering that you get messed up, if i ever change the coust i am going to be going for something with vertical dropouts deffinatly as it give you the option to do whatever you want with regards to gear ratio's etc.
