Alright...

Has anyone on here dealt with Profile, in the past, regarding warranty on broken Mini Cassette Hubs? They are meant for BMX and not for Trials so i was wondering about any loopholes to get a new hub, or hub shell? :ermm:

Cheers,

Joe.

Orate Joe,

I f**ked mine up ages ago. I got in touch with them and they give you an address to send the hub to. You then send it to that address ad theyll contact you to let you know what there going to do. With me they just gave me a brand new hub.

Mine was rolling round like a free wheel and when i kicked crank just went to bottom, and i stayed static lol

How long you had it for? Im not sure if they need some proof of purchase, just give them a ring on the number it says on the box. Or ask tarty for it cause Adam gave it me :)

Im pretty sure i've had it since April '05, haha  ... How long did you have yours for?

Mines not done that, though - mines cracked around the driver on the drive side of the hub shell.

As long as they don't ask for the whole wheel, or ask me how i did it or what BMX i have then i should be alright...

Any more experiences? :)

Cheers,

Joe.

You won't have it replaced for free unless you can prove it was a defect. If you bought it new and you know where from they will take down the shops details to confirm it and then they will sell you the part at trade price. If you bought it 2nd hand you will have to pay full price. If you can fix it yourself just get the part from them and then do it yourself and save postage sending it to them and may be layber costs.

Havent dealt with profile when mine broke. i stripped all the teeth in the driveside. I took it down to my local bike shop ( normally would be a big mistake ) they were going to fit a new hub shell took three weeks, they done something wrong so they bought a brand new complete hub and charged me the price of a hub shell :D.

On another note if they do ask just say you 360'd a 20 stair set and it cracked or something haha.
