What Makes Something 'thread-worthy'?

Seen a lot of posts where people have said something like "This doesn't deserve its own thread!"

But what actually does? for Chit-Chat anyway.

Why can't something stupid stay on here for more than 5 minutes without the topic starter getting slated down?

For example, on The Mini Forum I just posted a topic about toast. If I did that on here, it'd go well for 5 posts, then someone would moan, argue, and get it closed.

So yeah, what's actually 'thread-worthy' in your opinion?

Meh, I'd have threads about camels n all sorts if it was left to me.

i do like camels, i like the way they store water in there humps. i would love a thread on camels!

you could be the perfect/nicest/most informed and smartest person on this forum and still easily be slated.

slating makes the world go round :)

Some of the stuff is decent and relevent, which is collected up in 'thread' threads.

Some of the stuff is pure crap on it's own, which is collected up in 'thread' threads.

Everything else is either needs it's own thread, or does not.

I hope this helps, :blink::lol:(Y):PB)

Talking about camels, I remember some topic a few years ago about camels being able to hook insanely high, there were even some pictures provided in the thread as evidence.

Now a few years later.. monty has released a kamel frame! This cannot be coincidence..

Basically, if you post a bad quality picture of a sunset in it's own thread, it's not thread worthy. There's a photo thread already.

This post is not aimed at anyone specifically, nor does it target people that pretend to write poems and actually source them using Google. Google is a registered trademark of some rich f**ktard that has more money than sense.

PS. This thread is great.
