I always found that when doing slightly more high speed pedal gaps etc that 175mm cranks were too long and i couldn't pedal comfortably, so i stick with 170. I guess i lose on some leverage, but its a lot more comfortable when i'm not doing static tricks

I've always gone for 175's myself. I think a lot of people are running 170's now because thats the only size the denganator does? I might be wrong though.

Out of interest are we going to maybe be seeing a new pair of cranks hitting the streets?

175's

on my mod :$

Before that I had 170 Tensiles I think, but when i had my stock I always had 175's, just because at the time 'burns were the only trials specific crank and my lbs just got them in 175 cos it's kinda the given size uk riders tend to use as far as I can tell.

I run 170s and there fine for me. Im assumeing you thinking of bringing cranks out, if so im sure tarty could help you out alot as they will know which is more popular. Theres so many gear ratios used now a days that i wouldnt say theres a more popular lenght as different people are using different lenghts for there ratio. I supose 175 would be a safe better as most people think longer the more power so go for the longer cranks.

That's the exact reason I'm happy running 175's on a mod, bit more power. I know it probably doesn't make that much difference but I'm 6ft and have quite long legs so don't really fancy the spinny spinnyness of 158/160's
