26" Rear Rim Choice

[16 years later]

Ok I’m not too much of a basher. I tend to do smaller tech stuff. I want a rim that holds a grind reasonably well and was wondering which one you would go for.

I am swaying towards the trialtech. Or would you go for some thing different all together.

If you're not a huge rider and don't bash your rim,

The lightest rim you can fine should do, although that may not hold a grind.

The TrialTech is certainly the lightest, not too sure about the grind holding capabilities

Try-Alls are pretty shite for holding grinds, Echo holds them best but is also the heaviest.

You could always modify an Echo to make it lighter?

My tryall held a grind really well :|

Mine was awful! I had Rock blues though, maybe they ripped through the grind faster than most pads.

dx32/ronnie hold grinds but are pretty thin, tryall/viz/trial tech/revel are all the same and dont really hold grinds but there good enough, echo holds grinds but are heavy :\ your choice really.
