its not even that light mate.

Infact thats one is heavier than nearly every trials frame thats has come out in the past 3 years.

Obviously if it was a trials frame you would savea bit of weight, but compared to the amount of strength your losing i would deem it pretty useless.

You know they made a major typo there.

2.6kgs is heavy.

2lbs 12oz isn't.

In fact they even spelt 'weighs' wrong.

But i think it's a bit of cool engineering anyway. I'd probably go with titanium for XC though.

every frame in the last 3 years, im confused. i can bearly think of 5 trials frames that weigh 2.6 lb :S

That is where your wrong. the majority of trials frames on the market weigh on average under 5lbs, except the lighest Koxx and Dob frames that weigh under 4lbs. a 2lb 16-17in frame is an exceptionally light frame weight, so a trials frame made out of this stuff would be strictly competition use.
