Tony Harrison
Why can't you change them back?To avoid starting a new thread... I'm going to France this week. Where's the best place to change money, or isn't there much difference where you go? I was thinking of visiting the Post Office and doing it there. Last month I went to Europe, and relied on my card to pay and get cash, and got rubbish exchange rates and fees. I can't afford such n00bish behaviour this time. Simpson
Yea post offices should take change back at the same rate as you got it swapped at if you keep your recieptI found the exchange rates in Zante were better over there than the post office offered. Im going to Tunisia, Milan, Barca, Mantecarlo and Majorcia over the next week and im jut gonna bring sterling and roll it out me thinks, (200quid and 60 something euros)

matt rushton
If you have enough, why not make a FS thread and sell them, i'm sure someone will be going on holiday soon. And if you are prepaird to loose a couple of quid it will be a bargain to someone.
Krisboats
My local tesco's has a euro's option on the prices of things. Looking to spend some of my coins there tomorrow.
tipsy Jock
Yer nationwide change them back I did recently, i found best place to go was post office no comission. The post office will tend to get you on the exchange rate to change it back. That's what i've found in the past. E.g. £220 worth of Euros, post office would only give £190 for them.
