baladi
I may just be blind but the only pic i can see of that bike in the link you posted was of the rider rolling down a wooden plank. hardly BIG ridding is it.In the first pic he did the eight+ pallets tap and the gap to the round thinghe also did that gap in the second pic... from the pallets tower in the lefti'm not saying he rides huge. he rides enough to stress that frame.. and it didnt crack Edited September 25, 2008 by baladi
baladi
Apparently Hoffman Bikes thought the hubs were a good idea... Edited December 2, 2008 by baladi
Greetings
Those hubs won't last on a powerful front disc brake. But as always I'm all for such experiments, good job.

Muel
That bikes had some nice work done, but it seems daft to me to do all that drilling and then use Maxxis tyres.
BenLeacockâ„¢
Theres not much tread left on them Surprised its still going strong.

grant_hundley
Has it got a folding tire bead? If it has, I won't like it My rear rim is 38mm wide, so get tire roll pretty bad with lightweight tires with folding bead. Ali C
hmm, mine is wire bead, but I beleive the production versions are kevlar however if it has the same sidewalls as mine, tyre fold WONT be a problem!

grant_hundley
I was close anyway Thought you might have had the same tire's Matt Burrows got from the bikeshow..
Muel
Because Maxxis are the best tires going...If you say so, personally the best combo I've tried is my front Try-All/rear Rubber Queen set. Tyre roll isn't an issue because I run my tyres really hard.
Davetrials
Maxis tyres, you spend half ur life drilling this bike, to then go and put the heaviest tyres on it didnt seee the last few post's. and ur right maxxistyres are the best tyres, but if uve gone to so much effort trying to save weight...
