JD™
the best tip I can give you is to hang around in here for a while, get validated, get into the classifieds and buy some good second hand kit. Definately the most cost effective way of getting a good rig.
suhieb
You could just upgrade parts 1 by 1 so your spending money over time and you will eventually end up with a better bike, you could also try Ebay to see if any good bikes are going for a nice price. tris
Building up a bike from scratch will probably cost more money than buying a full bike (Second Hand). So if i were you, sell your current bike. Add a bit of money and get a decent full bike off ebay, or on here (if you get authorised). What size bike are you looking for? 20"? 24"? or 26"?? James Shields
Alright adam. was wondering when you would post. like the guy said above, wait untill you get validated, if you aren't yet and then search in the for sale threads, decent condition parts, good spec for lower prices. james

kona1991
I hate buying new parts to use with old parts, which is why i try to replace as much at once as i can. It makes me feel odd riding with like well brand new forks, but oldish other parts
