PaRtZ
Ive been asked loads of questions by bidders on ebay now about ending the auction early and coming to an agreement (upon seeing the auction). Question is, can I do it leit through ebay, do I incur charges, and if so, how do I do it?Thanks guys. Its not got a reserve or buy it now
Jolfa
It'll still cost you the listing fee, but otherwise it's no problem, theres a link where you just chose from 4 options why you're ending early, easy peasy
The Duck
Yeah you do incur charges sadly... You have to cancel all the bids, then it lets you remove it from ebay. I wouldn't recomend it, usually the offers you get turn out to be less than what you'd get if you let it run...
Broomer
make a fraudulent account, or get a friend to bid, add a bid for like a grand over what you want. then bobs your uncle you get to keep it?can that work?
BONGO
You can do it, but if there is bids people can moan. I ALWAYS type "advertised elsewhere so i reserve the right to end early." Just saves people moaning.

BONGO
I'm really surprised by that?!Most of my ebay sales and buys are to do with motorbikes, and it's common for people, me included to advertise on there as well as forums. All of my sales have the statement, and most i see off other people have something similar.Try putting it in your additional notes at the bottom, where you have delivery info maybe?? yoyoyo
Think it's more to do with people doing it to end it if they don't get as much as they want for it. They'll clamp down on it more like they did with the not koxx monty onza thing people did.
that NBR dude
make a fraudulent account, or get a friend to bid, add a bid for like a grand over what you want. then bobs your uncle you get to keep it?can that work?I wouldn't do that if I were you. When stuff sells on ebay, you pay a percentage of the final sold fee. Dont think you want to be paying ebay like 5% of that price
Pashley26
ok guys ill leave it running then DONT.You will have to pay a final sellers fee on top. E.g - I sold a steering wheel for £150 last week, but i left the auction running and it made £148.I had to pay an additional £3.20 on top of my £0.67 listing fee because the item had "sold"Go onto your ebay, and click on "Selling" then on the item you want to remove, click on the drop down box to the right of the description and click on remove item (i think) and give the reasons. Must be 12 hours before the auction ends though.save yourself a few quid
