Rusty190
Hey matesIm a 24 year old guy from Sweden. Im totally new to the world of biketrials. When i was a little kid, maybe 6 years old, my dad and I visited a motortrials competition. Since then, I have always thought trials is interesting, but I´ve never got into it. So now is the time I guess!! =) Recently a friend to me bought a trials bike and it seems to be fun, so now, everyday Im doing "research" in biketrials on the net, and also looking for what bike i´ll invest in. For the moment im looking at 26" bikes like Echo Pure and Echo Control. CheersRusty190
andits
nice to see you getting into the sport. You ever rode trials at all?To be honest youd probably be better starting on a 20" bike, its sjut a case of trying out the different sizes of bikes see whjat you prefer and then stick to that.Andy
Rusty190
Yep I´ve tried riding a little, both a 20" and 26" bike. I thought the 26" was easier to handle running over larger gaps and higher obstacles compared to the 20" bike. Maybe the 20" was easier to starting out learning standing on the rear wheel, but I felt more comfortable riding the 26" same wich feels more like a MTB. Skoze
You won't regret 26" I'd highly recommend an echo control, they just ride so nicely! How tall are you?Matt
Rusty190
Good to hear... =) Im 178 cm tall. I guess I should look at short types of frames...? Thx
Skoze
Yeah, anything under 1080 would be good in my opinion Shorter frames tend to be more "chuckable"I rode a 1065 wb pitbull for a year or so, which was a very nice length! Now got a leeson which is 1025 madly short!
