Going to the Lake District so might try some natural trials there. Need some inspiration though, I want to try something else than riding my bike. Tony Harrison
There's a good quarry up there, called Hodge Close Quarry. It's near Coniston I think. Some stuff to ride, plus rocks to climb and a big pool to swim in. Oh, and old mine tunnels to explore!

anzo
I've only had one week (5 days) off this whole year so I've been pretty sensible with them really; ususally I put them in whenever I feel the slightest bit shit.Although last year I did save them up and pretty much had December off - but nobody else did so I wasted them sat at home doing sweet FA.These kids don't realise how easy they have it. sobek
Start work and then you'll be wishing you were back there...8-5pm everyday for the rest of your life. Prison is better.you guys should teach in china...in a public school you would work 15-20 hours a week for a 4000 (possibly more) yuan salary.ok not much when you convert it to pounds but considering the average wage is 800 yuan a month for most people and university professors get paid 1500 - 2000 a month, my salary is great...can live comfortably here.FYI...my GU stock bike with all echo parts cost 5600 yuan...takes not long to save up at all
MadManMike
Out of interest, do you know the prices for Pioneer CDJ1000's?They are DJ decks... I'd be very interested to know if I could import two for myself and save money - They are £788 each here, which is quite expensive
