ye you can go dual disk, you can buy the long disd adaptors from heatsink ( i think ) they bolt on to you 4 bolt mount and there you go, also you could get one welded at a pro shop

Since when ?

Monty looks Luuuuusssshhh, as far as i know theres no way (other than welding and making adaptors etc ) having DD on an A1 :(

I say keep the Monty as it looks lush!!! Monty's are the best riding frame out there and I've never owned one! :( I hate rim brakes too for some reason. Cause they never lock up for me maybe? And you always have to adjust them. Looking to go dual disc in the near future.

If your after a frame with similar geo to the A1, but with a disc mount, have a look at Kots and Simtras. I think they are pretty close.

Looks cool, it's a nice mix of retro and bang up to date, I really like it.

Nah the Kot I reckon. If I was getting a stock I'm pretty sure I'd get a Kot, they look brilliant and the BB is a bit higher I think.

Kot's do have a tendancy to snap though...

The monty looks awesome! And how have you kept the fattys in such good condition!?!? Jealous!

Matt

Pfft, who told you that? The new Kots (07 and onwards), are stronger I believe. I think I remember Uncle Tart saying that it has an extra gusset on one of the chain stays.

Anyway, everyone knows that dual disc riders are really smooth and therefore, won't snap it. :P
