MadManMike
My parents don't understand it, but at my age if they tried to stop me I'd just be like My stepdad seems to think his Shockwave full sus £129 Halfords special is better than my £1100 DMR, because it has dual suspension and gears...It's lost on him when I try and explain it too - "Well, mine has disc brakes too!" he says - Yeah, nasty cable ones that are worse than cheap Vee's.When I say to him about hacking it off a 4ft wall he says something along the lines of "Yeah but why would you want to do that?" that NBR dude
I dont think my parents have ever stopped me riding trials. They've seen me ride a demo once, which was the first time they've ever really taken an interest in what I do. They just know I ride funny bikes with no seat. My dad used to come to a few comps and stuff, but overal, they just let me get on with it. They do like watching the videos and photo I do.They are just happy that I'm out having exercise and enjoying myself.
