AdamR28
put it on my bike and it will tighten its self ?Your pedalling force tightens it
Oli Smith
or a chain whip
_Owen.
Put it on, hold both your brakes, and try and pedal, your cranks will turn a bit, tighterning your cog. Dont go trying big gaps to tightern it though! And if you do, please film it! Owen

Muel
Basically, fit it, and take it a bit easy while it's still tightening because it will want to slip a bit at first as it tightens.

Mat Smith!
is it the wheel moving? or the axel staying still and the rest of the wheel moving about, if that makes sence?Matx
G-baby158
My wheel is a adamant freehub on a echo rim, i dont have snail cams or that its got a little thing on the end what goes into the frame on the non drive side if that makes sence. cai
You need the Echo snail cams on their (only Echo ones work on those hubs, as they are wider than most and are drilled to 12mm not 10mm). This will stop the hub from moving. But if the rim is moving then you've proberly got a buckel - look it up in the wiki on how to fix it (its really easy btw)
Greetings
If the wheel is rubbing against your drive side brake pad, the wheelbuild is at fault. If it's rubbing against the non drive side brake pad, it's probably the wheel moving around in the dropouts.
G-baby158
Its not the rim its the hub that is moving, so it will be ok with echo snail cams?

PaRtZ
Its not the rim its the hub that is moving, so it will be ok with echo snail cams?yes. You could probably get away with a bodge and use othe snail cams but you may as well remove complications and stick to echo ones. Don't forget, you need snail cams on both sides Also, Im not familar with thes deng frames, but is there a pre-welded lug already on the frame? Or does he need to insert a bolt for the cam to butt against?
