Money...

Right, I'm in the shit, well I am and I'm not. The other day, I was sat parked up in a car park with my mate in the passenger seat, my other mate Jonny in his car, and two other mates in their cars. One of my mates parked up (mark) went to pick some girl up, and wheelspun out of the junction and down the hill, then my other mate who was also parked up wheelspun out that same junction to go to work. The first person (mark) who wheelspun out the junction, came back with this girl. We sat and chilled for a bit, then I went to pick some girls up, as I was going out the passenger in my car yanked the hand brake on, so I was pissed off and floored it out of the junction (not wheelspinning), as I was going out the junction, a police van came in. They said to mark (who wheelspun) that they'd had reports of wheelspinning with a description that fitted his car, and he already has a section 59, so they took his car and fined him 105 quid...

His brother then sent me endless texts/phone calls threatening to tow my car away etc, because he reckoned I owed his brother (mark) money, to pay for this fine. The part I'm pissed off at is I did nothing wrong, and certainly didn't get marks car impounded. What really shit me up before is that this marks brother knows a few shady people, like people who've been in jail before and what not, and says he's gonna get them to come to my house if I don't pay mark the money...

What are your opinions on this? Do you think it's fair? What should I do?

Cheers

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The chances of your mate "sending the boys over" are pretty slim, as most peoples mouths are bigger than their balls.

If the police have a description matching a certain car, theres not really a great deal he can do about it to contest it wasnt him.

If he does try anything with his mates who've been in prison, think about who will the police side on? The people who have been convicted of crimes before, or some beaten to s**t kid...?

erm..... depends, personally id ignore it, it wasnt you driving his car, only he wheelspan, he got the car impounded.

and to be fair, i know a fair few shady people, and theyd want a fair bit to go rough someone up, even at mates rates. unless they owed him big time.

because no one whos done time etc, will go and beat someone up for £10, because they generally dont want to go back to prison for such a small amount, when they could grab a drunk bloke on the way home one night, and force him to empty his current account, then run off into the night. as opposed to goin to someones house in broad day light, and giving them a kicking with a bunch of witnesses.

yea and who doesnt know somone whos been in Jail, or Would Murder someone.

I could get someone Killed, I have the connections, just not the cash required (or the motive, yet)

Those with the capacity to do the most harm will be the smartest.

Who would risk going back to Prison for £105 just cos someones retarded younger brother drives like a willy and gets his car Towed.

I have a feeling the conversation would go:

Cocks Older Brother: Hey guys, I need a Really big Favor. Need someone Beaten up.

Thugs: Sure man, who is he, whats he done?

C.O.B: Well my younger brother got his car towed by the police and fined £105 for Dangerous driving, and he said it wasnt him, it was this other kid.

So I wanna get him.

Thugs: Youve got about 10 seconds to get out of here before we kick the shit out of you. Dont com here sugesting such bollocks. Who the f**k do you think we are?

School yard bullys? f**k off (punch to face for being stupid)

Moral of the Story, dont hang around in car parks like some twat boy racers, dont drive around like some twat boy racers, dont hang around with twat boy racers, Dont be a twat.

Learn to drive Properly while your there.

Oh yea, hanging out in car parks doing wheel spins and picking up 12 year old school girls isnt cool, it just makes you a wanker.

Because some people like to sit in their cars, chat to their mates there, I don't see anything wrong in it.

Josh, you're not in the wrong, it was your friends fault he's been given a fine, not yours. By the sounds of it, you were driving properly, and left at the right time too.

I know as a fact, there are car clubs that meet in car parks and talk about all sorts of things, from VW Clubs to Street Car Clubs.

I've probably missed a key sentence somewhere, where he said he himself was doing ''wiked 360's while burnin out in da car park'', :D

Ok i'll explain. The problem is; it normally doesn't just involve sitting there and talking. It leads to bad driving, etc. cos these guys want to show off their cars. This is what happened, this is why they got reported, and this is why they got caught by the police. Geddit?

Lol, sux 2 b u.

Personally, In your situation I'd tell him to go feck, but, you have some responsibilty in this. You did drive like a tit and it was just lucky that he got busted for it and not you.

Most people would accept this as bad luck, however I can understand him being pissed off about it, but the blame is 50/50. Why not suggest that each of you in the cars at the time pay £X ammount towards the fine? Whats the point in paying all of it? I'm sure he wouldn't if the tables were turned...

I hope this has taught you a bit of a lesson, you're 17, you cannot drive as well as you think you can. Unfortunately crashes involving teenagers are on the news pretty much each day now, don't become another statistic.

OK so if me and my buddys are ragging our cars round a carpark and I run someone over and I kill them everyone there should do X amount of my prison sentance. I can see where you are coming from here...... Naaaarrrttt

Doing a wheelspin and killing someone is one extreme to another. All I'm saying is that they were all as bad as each other in this situation and if they're as good as mates as they make out, they'll all accept the responisbilty and chip in.

Or is that just me? :P

he drove like a tit because his mate pulled his handbrake without his consent?

I wasn't driving like a tit either, I don't ever drive like a cock... I put my foot down to mainly, from instinct, stop the car stalling, and because I was quite angry at my mate just yarking the hand brake on. It's over now (I think and hope), I just went down the Mark's work, his brother was their and didn't say f**k all, I took 20 quid down, and said look that's all I've got (I don't work, only get 2 quid ish a day off rents for food), then he took 10 and just said he'll tell his brother to lay off.

Mark seems canny, I just think his brother was taking the opportunity to get money out of me. I hate people like that.

Thanks for the input everyone.

You stuck your foot down to stop the car stalling.

f**k me you dont know how to drive a car.

"sorry officer, I pulled the trigger to stop the bullets getting cold"

So your driving at the "correct" speed for the carp park, which should be 10mph, and "your friend" yanks the handbrake on.

But wait, you needed to slam on the Gas and speed of, or your car would stall. EVER HEARD OF A CLUTCH PEDAL

So instead of bollocking your mate for being a fanny and messing with driver controls while he isnt driving, speeding down the road was the answer?

Please come down south and teach me how to drive, sounds like ive been getting it wrong for all these years.
