kona1991
I struggle with tyre pressure quite a bit. I like to have them soft for grip and "pump", but because i ride my low geared bike a long way to ride, and i like to spin a bit, i tend to have my tyre quite hard in comparison with other riders. Its definately up to the individual riders... but i wouldnt recommend going for a real low pressure "<15 PSI" when just starting out as it will be quite a challenge.Have fun trying to find a pressure that suits. Echo-Scott
I currently have my front and back at about 10psi, my front would normally be a little harder but i got a split going about 3 inches along my rim which gets pushed out by the tyre :(
ti-mig-guy
when the rim gets hit you will know. Low pressure is ok to start with, but watch out when you start to move to bigger drops, and moves. I thought I was perfect at 17 until I smashed the rim on a drop to a curb. Also real low pressure can increase the chance of tearing a tire.

sstein
I normally run about 20psi in the rear but I have been flatting a lot lately so I am trying 40psi at the moment. Not to bad once you get use to it, just a lot less grip.

Balthazor
Im not sure what psi my tires were on my trials build but as im close to 13 stone i remember i had to run quite high pressure in the back compared to other riders. But thats just cos im a big ass guy lol, on my Kona Dj/trialsish lol bike i run both back and front at about 40ish but thats because moto digger tyres sidewalls are crap they collaps easily
