Martin Grainger Posted July 11, 2008 Report Share Posted July 11, 2008 i need help getting my music back onto my computer...basically, my computer got a virus, so everything get swiped, so i had to re-download itunes, but now ive got no music on and when i try and connect them it says do i want to sync my ipod with the itunes library, so it will then erase my ipod aswell......is there anyway to sync the itunes with the ipod so it downloads from the ipod, not the library???any helps appreciated.martin. Fish-Finger-er Posted July 11, 2008 Report Share Posted July 11, 2008 you cant do it on the new classics, but all the 3g/4g/5g/6g ones you can. from memory, its something like, enable hidden files/folders, control, ipod music, then folders f 00 to f49 contain the music, although the filenames are just 4 letter codes. the id3 tags etc can still be read by itunes.
