Building A Bike

Wondering about a new bike again, and none of the ones in my price range are what I'm looking for. I mainly do street stuff, like fakies spins.

Would the Base TA26 be a good frame for street and would it be strong enough? It has a short wheelbase (1025). Is this too short? Could my legs hit the handlebars short?

Also does the TA26 able to have gears?

And if I can squeeze another question in, does the bash plate under the BB get in the way at all?

Thanks

1) Yeah it's a great frame for street, a mate of mine had one a while ago and did nothing "TGS" on it, all street.

2) If 1025 was TOO short, then they wouldn't have made it, so no, you will not hit your knees.

3) Yes it can have gears.

4) No it doesn't get in the way, it's just a way of protecting the sprocket and chain (like a bashring)

:)

1. IT is a very good street frame, and hitting you knees will be down to bar/stem combo.

2. Yer you can have gears

3. It only gets in the way if you want it to ?
