JonMack
That one wont be wide enough, but they're a decent BB. The other option is something like a MOE for an extra tenner, or this http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_inf...;products_id=31 which Psycholist regards very highly. gr8grumble
i used that bottom bracket on my 06 python.... it lasted about 8months then snapped, it will be ok for screw on cog, if your running front freewheel doubt it will be wide enough like jon said. but good value for money.. planet x alan
had one of them things on my jump bike, lasted 2 drops before the axle decided to bend VERY budget things and the bearings are rubbish in them also. spend a bit more money and get something a bit more reliable
Danny Kearns
FSA platinum pro DH's are amazing, my mates had his like 3 years, rides big too. Still fine, bearings are smooth. Thats the DH one though. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=5593 Edited July 7, 2008 by Danny Kearns
JonMack
I've got a DH one for sale and yeah it's a bit heavier than the normal plat, but not much, and it is very smooth and pretty much bomb proof!
LiamWood!
Ive got one. Had it on my 06 python and now on my Gu Le. Both with a front freewheel, just rubbed a bit then it creates a groove and all is well.
