Adam L
I'm sure this is a virus or some form of malware and i cannot get rid of it Even if i click no to download the antispyware [which i'm positive will be a proper virus], it opens Firefox and links me to it. This pop-up comes everytime I go into a new folder in explorer. I've scanned using McAfee & NoLop & Nod32. Can't get rid of it. Please help me, Adam. Krisboats
Try adaware and spybot search and destroy. I'd say it looks more like malware than a virus. If it was a virus you'd have a message from your virus scanner, not a windows message. And a windows message certainly wouldn't link you to a "spyware remover". Extreme_biker0
Start-->run-->type 'msconfig'-->disable all non-microsoft startup services and all other startup programs in the various tabs. Not only will your computer be lightning fast, but you'll be cured of the malware, and none of your kids will come out ginger.

tipsy Jock
This looks like the virus I got earlier this week. Norton didn't even notice it and still hasn't. I've just d/l'd the latest spybot to try later, looks like it's not going to work though.
anzo
I would recommend Kaspersky Anti Virus/Internet Security; its about £25-30 on Amazon; 3 licence and a year subscription to database updates. I use it on a huge scale at work, loads of configuation settings (more than enough for a home user) - but yea, a very well made program. The uploader wont let me Copy & Paste it into there. It will tell you what to delete & what not to delete Adam.
