koxx_xtp_rider
Hey there. Has anybody had any experiences good or bad with ZHI fixed hubs. I am looking to build a pair (front and rear) laced to tryall rims and its going to cost me over £230 so i want to know that im getting something that is of decent quality and will last a fair while. Help is appreciated. Cheers. Neil Sorry this post was done twice. Something to do with flood control and i clicked too many times. apologies
Jamie East
Hi Neil, I haven’t actually used the Zhi hubs, but from what I’ve heard they’re pretty good. (Have a look on Trials-uk) I’m currently using a Zoo! fixed hub, and the two seem very similar, so I’d say its worth the money. As with the try-all rims, they’re fantastic!! I‘ve got a rear try-all rim, and it works amazingly! Its soooo light (without going to magnesium) but also super strong, although the rims are quite expensive, but I’d say its worth the investment in the long run, as they’re almost indestructible. This is just my opinion of the rims, I’m sure others wont be in love with them as much as me! Hope this helped (a little!) Jamie
David20
Rear zhi hubs are decent, never had any problems with mine when I rode my Zhi. Front one's are wank though, bearings on mine went the night I got it.
