Heres a little background story first. Well I guess it was about 1998, I had a bike stolen from me. A friend of the family owed my dad a favor so he got me a bike for free from someone he knew. It was a brand new in box monty x-stam that I opended and put together. I didnt know at the time what the bike was used for but i knew it definatly wasnt ment to just ride around on because of the small sprocket. I needed a bike to ride to and from jr. high so I had to get a regular bike and just put this one in the shed where it has been since. I just took it out and got it working again. Some of the parts arent the original ones like the grips, pedals (odessy triple trap) and front rim (which I have somewhere), and the plate under the crank is gone (which i think i still have somewhere also). My question is what is this bike worth, it is in great condition since i never really rode it. I dont think ill ever use it, and i figure i should sell it to someone who will.

Woah thats old school, is that a dent in the chainstay? I can't say how much it would be worth really, i don't think many people would buy it to ride but maybe as an anteak :ermm: . If thats the case just store it in your loft for a few years and it may be worth a few bob to riders who are interested in stuff like this as i'm sure there are none in the same conditon.

Thats not my bike but it looks identical. The dents in the frame are where the crank arms go by, it was made like that.

What is it? Megamo?

Please dont ride it!!! Or sell it. Keep it a few more years, then it'll be worth loads!

Yup what he said. Sell it as a part of history not as a bike. Anyone know the year of this? I hope your garage/shed has been waterproof all those years :giggle:
