bikeperson45
Since I'm thinking about getting a new bike,, ,( ) I was thinking about geomatry. I've got a saracen flea 1 (I think) What sort of BB is good for street sort of moves, like manuals? One of the bikes I'm looking at has a BB rise of 5 and the other is 35. Also, my knees sometimes hit the stem bit so I'd rather have a longer wheelbase, however I can not find the flea 1's geomatry. One of them (zoot) only has 1040mm wheelbase, while the other (phase 1.1) is 1075. Any help appreciated
Ben John-Hynes
Usually, lower bbs are good for streety stuff, And a longer WB won't really help with you hitting your knees, what you want is a longer reach (bb shell to headtube). Luke Rainbird
One of them (zoot) only has 1040mm wheelbase, while the other (phase 1.1) is 1075 You also appear to be missing the fact that the Zoot is a 24", and the Phase 26" For budget frames though, keep an eye on the FS section of this site - you'll grab a bargain! Especially if you keep an eye out for things like T-Rex's and similar
bikeperson45
Have been checking. Still wondering about the 24". Thinking it might be best to stay with stock. Thanks
