Davetrials Posted June 24, 2008 Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 Im joining the gym at start of july, but i have no idea about fitness in anway shape or form, what the f**k are muscle groups? will some one tell me what to do if i tell them what i want basically ive got a wee tiny belly cumming on and i want rid tone my stomach up work on my arms and get some stregnth in my legs again. everyday par from sunday, its not a hobby no more its an obsession, reason i dont ride trials is so i got more time to focus on bodybuilding. 6 days a week would have been fine biff.... Posted June 28, 2008 Report Share Posted June 28, 2008 5/6 nights a week in the gym in the summer. why? go out get some decent fresh air while you train. if your lifting weights 5 or 6 times a week then you aren't resting enough (resulting in damage to joints and bones) if it's cardio your doing then why would anyone want to go the gym? i don't use a gym mainly because i'm only interested in cardio and building muscle for triathlons which can be done outside for free. i have got a set of weights in my garage but really they are for when the weather is shit or winter when it's too cold. Haven't been since been at uni and I got a bit lardy (same weightish just more fat lol). Squats ahoy and gotta get some mega cardio going on.
