Haz
Used to go three times a week, twice for 2 hour cardio sessions, once for hour and a half weights (machine and free). Now I'm not at uni, I have no membership and my leg is out of action anyway.

txt2007
i go swimming everyday before school and i go in the actual gym everyday except tuesday when i have rugby training, and do 1h on the fitness bit and then an 30mins weights then 30mins fitness again, then back in the pool. My knees have started to hurt like f**k after running, so i tend to do more cycling, cross trainer and the rowing machine... and if im free at the weekend and its raining ill stay in the gym almost all day switching between the gym, tennis and squash. Deonn h
4 times a week, i wanna be like as big as coleman, gona happen same 4 times a week ,, no cardio as my knee is out of action for 6 month , carnt do legs either , some serious squatting when its backk in action. Usually go for about 1hr.1.5 hrs there is no need to go for more than that if your only doing say 2 muscle groups at a time. Gained 10kg in past 5 month Edited June 21, 2008 by Deonn h

max-t
4 times a week, i wanna be like as big as coleman, gona happen Haha For me, 3 or 4 times a week for no longer than 35-40 minutues on freeweights. And i get most of my cardio from running home from work on fridays and saturdays and when i ride my bike on natural .

ManxTrialSpaz
Bloody hell. You lot make me look even lazier than I am. Go every Mon, Wed and Fri. Usually run down there or do a quick 5 min run as a warmup then do a very basic freeweight routine to build up the core muscles. Usually only takes half an hour or so. But I'm gonna change it and add to it once I get used to lifting again. Then, if my mate's there, will end the session with a 40 min ride on the bike. JulianC
I've always loved the idea of going to the gym but never got into it. I bought myself a gym membership in my first year at uni but I only ended up going once
Bondy
really? Rest is just as important as actualy training :| Its only low intensity high duration (6.5mph for about 60 odd mins), i dont feel too fatigued in the days after exercise, dont get any injuries or anything and im progressing as i should be, if i was weight training that much, then yeh thats a fair enough point, the cardio isnt at as a high enough intensity to need me to rest as much. Weights are only twice a week at the moment, going on a lower/upper body split for now until i start up a proper split routine Edited June 21, 2008 by Bondy

Muel
I just do freeweights at home, split routine over 2 days, Mon and Tuesday, then again on Thursday and Friday. It's working good so far. Managed to bench 51kg last night, sounds like shit compared to some people, but when I started I only did 42.5kg, so a pretty healthy increase methinks in 6 months on and off. Think you need to do some heavier weights then lol because mine improved 10kg in about 3 weeks from when i first started and about 35 in 6 month. How many reps and things do you do?
