AdamR28
What is this about, im getting moist Lol, you dipper 7.7kg... sounds doubtful unfortunately, especially with the list of parts you have...
Luke Rainbird
The secret venture could turn out to be pretty interesting, though I suspect it still won't be quite up my street Close would be nice though, looking forward to a proper look at things
Giddy Koxx Boy
7.7kg... sounds doubtful unfortunately, especially with the list of parts you have... Yeah, thats what i really posted this topic to find out because 7.7 kg is ridiculiously light, can anyone tell me what the weight would more realistically be with these parts? AdamR28
I would think about... 8.3-8.4kg with the spec you listed. (Missed bashplate/ring, axle bolts/washers, rear sprocket, snail cams, rim tapes, no ti/alloy bolts, and you'd have to make the tyres completely slick to get them to that weight!) Stuff from the list that could be lighter: Onza Hognesium pedals : 374grams meta TCS headset : 100grams alu nipples : 30.grams viz spokes : 200grams try-allBrakes : 772grams try-all foamgrips : 20.grams echo isis BB : 278grams Eno white industries freewheel : 199grams Dob rims : 656grams monty kamel brake rotors : 206grams try-all NUC stem : 250grams Is that crank weight right? Sounds horrendously light. Stuff like the chain and tubes wouldn't last all that long either I feel! Making light bikes is fun
