A few people will do them for a fiver per wheel. But your going to have to use some money sending the wheels back and forth. I suggest you find a decent local bike shop in your area. There should be at least a few within 25miles (easy train journey i'd say), who would charge around £10 to £15 a wheel. But yeah £50 is a bit steep for the king of build your wanting.

Im sure if you ring Tartybikes up they would build up the wheel for you.

Thats going to cost you £15 and then your goin to cost you max of £5 to them totaling at £20 whats alot less then your were originaly quoted.

Also with a tarty build you've got a peice of mind along with a wheel build.

Unless you were considering building the wheel your self, that saves cost totaly.

Personaly after thought with my own wheel I decided it wasn't for me,

Here's a guide for the wheel build anyways:

Cheers,

Adam.

If you want to save some money and learn something new try them yourself it sounds hard but it is really simple to do. Just go on the link below and follow the steps, ive followed them for the 10 wheels ive built my self.

g sport wheel build guide

Hope this helps if not contact tarty and ask them.

Try it yourself, its is easier than it seems at the start.

I did recently adn I'm really happy how they turned out and I can fix them

myself aswell now. read the info here and there is plenty more to find on the

net.

I don't know about anyone else but I found the hardest bit of wheel building, the "truing" (making sure the wheel runs straight and does not wobble) so say you were to lace the wheel up yourself and put all the spokes in you could take it to your local bike shop and its sometimes cheaper from them to just tru it rather than them having to completely build it as it is less time consuming for them thus probably cheaper.

Chris.
