Gogz-
has any one had any problems with your rear wheel flexing? iv got a try all rim on a hope pro 2 hub . when i pedal it pulls the wheel into the break pad (when i put lots of pressure on the cranks). all the spokes are tight my wheel is also tight in the dropout . has any one got any ideas? It it definitely the wheel flexing? I'd first check to see if the cones are tight.

I'd first check to see if the cones are tight. it shouldn't be the cones because it is sealed bearings and its only like 3 months old
forteh
It it definitely the wheel flexing? I'd first check to see if the cones are tight. No real cones to come loose on a hope hub Check the hub is seated properly in the dropouts and that the frame isnt cracked somewhere in the back triangles, other than that stop having beasty legs or set the brake pads further out

Andrex
My rear wheel does it as well, but I've had so many problems with my pro 2 that I just ignore it now. I was told that mine was flexing because some bearings had collapsed on the cassette side, and when i put my fingar in i can feel them moving up and down. Take your hub apart and have a look and then re-grease it and see what its like then.

Tim-Hill..Yeah Mate
I used to have the same problem to, who built the wheel? if you did? did you know what you were doing? when mine was flexing the build was totaly shite, dished incorectly and some spokes being too wrong length etc etc also the original pro2 bolts are wank for doing up tight i found, i got some 8mm pro2 bolts that helped some flex too. Tim.

I'm getting a new frame now any way so that should sort the problem with my frame flexing. Is that 8mm Alan key bolts?
Adam-Griffin
I think it was Damon Watson that filed the prongs down on his Magura because apparently it reduces flex in the rear wheel, might be an idea to look into it, havn't a clue what difference it would make myself but might work
