Has Anyone Actually Broken A Gu Typhoon?

Now to me they look like a damn strong frame, ive had mine over 2 years and have barley managed to scratch it.

And its not like im a light rider (ask people)

Someone told me the Silver frames were inherently weak, and everyone snapped them and they suck.

Now I want to know if anyone on here has.

I dont care if you heard/read/thought about one that might have, I could give a crap about your douche bag mates opinion that you have taken as your own.

If YOU have broken on, or whitnessed one, in the flesh (yes that does mena leaving the security of your cleanex covered bedrooms and meeting real people)

let me know, or even see with the new technology in pictoral transmorification.

I could imagine a gu snapping inbetween the top stays and top tubing. But i cant imagine if anyone has snapped one. Damon Watson and Matt arkwright both ride gu's and as far as i am aware none of them have snapped or cracked a gu frame. I mean come on there top quality riders pulling of big stuff. Is this a frame that deng has made bomb proof?

Firstly, I don't really like the attitude you have in your first post . Has the person who told you the silver 06 version of the frames is weak actually snapped one, why don't you ask him before you come on here ranting and calling our mates douche bags (wtf does that mean?) and telling us that we never leave our bedrooms??

To answer your question, I haven't seen or heard of any of the stock frames that have snapped. You've answerred your own question in your first post, if you have ridden a frame for 2 years, and rode it as hard as your making out and its still in one peice then I think you've done well! a frame usually lasts me about 6 months.

I'm sure if you where to do abit of a search you would find the answer your looking for, a post like that doesn't really get you anywhere.

Id Like to say well Boo Hoo, But I wont. My "attitude" was ment as a pre-emptive strike against the Torrent of 14 year old wise men and their years of wisdom and god like Knowlage coming in a making up stories of how they have snapped 5 ect, also to help prevent the usuall gabble of Deng haters coming in and telling me his frames suck.

As for asking them, this topic was made after a full conversation with them, but conviniently they had no names or pictures of broken GU's.

Now im not one to usually give 2 craps, but when someone tells me my bike is as weak as an asian school girl, id like to research this.

And as for search, why waste my time, I already know it wont yeild a crop.

Take 1 read of the responses in this topic, mostly GU riders astonished at this news that they are "weak"

Also if your mates arent douche bags (used this phrase due to Trials-forums stringent word foltering)then you have no need to get the B.A

There are alot of people who like to make up stories of the "friends" adventures and accomplishments. I wanted to make sure people knew I didnt care about those, hear-say never won any court battles.

Nows its nice to know that there arent Typhonns breaking all the time, and said story teller can now lick my balls, it would be nice to see the evidence of the Broken Mod, if not for my amusement, then at least for someone elses.

I like the sound of a frae that will last longer than 6 monts, as I got bored of buying new parts for my bike a long time ago, and it goes to show how far the indutry has come to design a bike that is more than up for the job.
