get the identiti p-45 mate its really light and such a nice ride. my mate had a kona and it was a piece of s***t, he had to replace almost everything because it all went wrong.

i have a DMR Sidekick custom built and it rides really well but dont get marzocchi forks unless you get a light pair because they weigh a ton. mine weigh about 7lbs. which is alot if your going to be jumping. i find it hard to jump front heavy but you may be ok....

p-45 anyday. The konas arnt worth the money really and kinda love or hate bike really. I personally dont like the kona jump range and paligap(kona importer0 are abit of a pain in the arse to deal with

Identiti's are super nice bikes. Cant fault them, its alot better bike for the money. They also have a really cool dropout system on them to. you can change it all around to run gears etc

Kona's are only really good (the dirt jump range) when tarted up. i.e single speed, bar and stem, halo's ;) and of course new forks. other than that they ride dreadful. They are a very overrated manufacturer.

The p-45 comes ready built for park/street/dirt etc and the build it comes with is really good for the price you are paying. defintely a great buy. :P

I'd personally get the commencal maxmax, as its cheap, the frames awesome and with the cash left over you can get yourself some choice upgrades.

(Y) personally i'd go for dmr all the time, (got two)

but out of those 2 you mentioned i'd say the identiti

I've lost all my faith in DMRs. A load of the guys i used to ride with managed to snap the front end off them. I'm not saying it'll happen to you, but the fact that its happened before means there's a high chance it'll happen again.

lol! Thats probably an idea for the choice upgrades then, along with a set of marzocchi dirt jumpers or something.

Also, if you want a dirt/dh bike, i've got one for sale (spot the shameless plug! :giggle: ). Check out:
