My Phone Seems To Have Blown Loads Of My Credit Without Me Knowing

Hi I don't often post on the forum but read regularly and find it very informative.

Anyway this morning while I was at work I noticed that I had £2.88 on my mobile after sending a text message. I then went to ring my girlfriend and noticed that I now only had 97p :S

Looking through my dialed numbers is a number which I'm not familiar with which was called from my phone at 1.42pm today which must have raped nearly £2 off of my balance. I'm almost certain that I wasn't using my phone at that time as I had just arrived at my girlfriends house and the phone was in my pocket. The number is also the full 11 digits so it can't be just a coincidence that I've pressed all these numbers into my phone... can it?

Looking further into the mystery I noticed that a number that I recognised was also called at 5.40am almost 2 weeks ago. We then looked through the local take aways and it's the number for a chinese I haven't used in nearly 3 years so why would I ring them at 20 to 6 in the morning and know the number just like that.

Every time this has happened it seems that I've been at my girlfriends house, is there anyway some muppet could have hacked into my sim card or even my phone via bluetooth, I sometimes put it on and forget to switch it off, could it be that one of us have weird sleeping habits where we ring a chinese take away that neither of us like at silly times?

The weird thing is I know exactly what I was doing at 1.42 today, I was on my own as the Mrs was out and her parents were doing their own thing. They're both technophobes and can't send a text nevermind hack my phone.

The phone is a Nokia N73 Music Edition and the Network is o2 prepay

Sorry if I'm been completely blind here but I'm so confused!

erm, there's bluetooth hacks been doing the rounds for years, which allow you to control peoples phones and send messages/make calls using that phone.

I once had someone in college send the message "hey, fancy a f**k" to everyone in me phonebook, which cost me like £20.00

but then it all kind of died out as all the phones where quickly updated not to allow that. but similar programs where supposedly able to work on new phones about a year ago(although i never got one to work when i tried) theres probably something similar around now, especially one that could work off a laptop.

thing is, its got to be within range of your phone at the time, so id suggest that its either somone in your mrs house/next door neighbour to her house.

simple answer is turn your bluetooth off unless you need it.
