The Duck
Hi all, Does anyone know if these forks are any good, and are these a good upgrade from onza tuff guys? Is it really worth spending £50 on t-uk to shed 500g? Yes. Tuff guys are wank. I've just spent £46 to shed 70g (£1 every 0.65g), so £1 for every 10g is pretty good going. craigjames
£50 to shed a pound of weight, bargain of the century if you ask me. if you're concerned about strength and reliability the i'd get some echo control forks, listed as pures on trials-uk, nice, strong stiff and light forks, a bit more than the neon ones, but then at least you know what you're buying. Luke Rainbird
They look alright, but if you're a heavy basher, I wouldn't recommend them Take a look at the spindlyness at the lower end of the legs, and the dropouts etc - they're unlikely to live up to a great deal of abuse If you want something that's going to last a bit longer, but can't afford a new set of forks, keep an eye on the FS section of this site

Luke Rainbird
? Anyway, I was recently considering these forks as the quality looks good and the weight is amazing, but I came to the conclusion that too much material was missing where it might be beneficial to add a few grams. Controls would be a pretty safe bet, or urbans if the curved blade thing doesn't do it for you
