Heatsink
Hi all, I'm offering an opportunity for someone to see their design immortalised on a run of T-shirts, which will end up being worn by some Top riders around the world including Aurelien Fontenoy (20" & 26" Junior World champ). The winner will recieve one of the Tees and also be the first to get their hands on a pair of HSB Magura pads in a colour not yet made public. Previous HSB T design The purpose of the Tees is for the HSB website logo to be as noticeable as humanely possible. The current Tee design below didn't maximise this. With the whole URL on one line it suits frame stickers (long tubing) but for Tees a square design is a better fit. So splitting the Heatsink & Bikes.com onto 2 lines would be the way forward. The sort of design which I'm looking for would be made up of Good font for the URL of Heatsinkbikes.com, split onto 2 lines (idea, but not essential having seen some good submissions!). Text can be horizontal or at an angle, in line or staggered, curved, font distorted, 3D.Possible simple supporting art: E.g. simple boxing, new shape, under lining like on the current design, product outline optional.Maximum impactAn optional tagline would be "Innovation In Motion"KISS is definately the thing to focus on! (Keep It Simple Stupid) One colour design (So no lighter shades) Design on the front body of the Tee please. Not on the arms, wrapped around the side, or rear due to printing cost Variety of Tee & print combinations to be produced using the design. Mock up in whatever colour combination floats your boat Comp ends Thursday 19th of June Looking forward to your entries! Steve

Revolver
I have three ideas. The third one is my favourite one, i reckon.
Luke Rainbird
Other than the fact the web address isn't www.heatsinkbikesheatsinkbikesheatsinkbikes.com, the concept is cool Try it without the triple
JD™
Other than the fact the web address isn't www.heatsinkbikesheatsinkbikesheatsinkbikes.com, the concept is cool Try it without the triple or just fade the small ones and overlap them slightly behind the main one? I reckon that would look top drawer.
Ben Cox
i would buy the top one! really like the style! Ben
JonMack
A quickie... Also, how many colours? Two?
Matthew62
I do admire the unashamedly cheeky way in which you get your branding/imagery produced at no cost. But while theres people happy to do it for the pure accolade than why not. I have literally just finished my design degree so i might give it a pop one day this week, altough 4 years of design has left me worn out so who knows what may come out. I think a nice bitmap'd design could look quite cool... good luck with it.
Simpson
get their hands on a pair of HSB Magura pads in a colour not yet made public. Hes not asking them to do it for free... and why not? Hes a small company and there are some top draw designers on here, which will do it for something that would cost the 20 odd quid, but steve makes for Xquid. Yeah I've just graduated too, and although it's cheeky, for someone like me, it's another thing to chuck in the portfolio, which I think is always useful, it's just like entering any other design competition, even though you might not win, it's still worth giving it a go. Hes not asking them to do it for free... and why not? Exactly, although a pair of pads are useless to me as I'm running DD, it's still something that most people on here would be very interested in, so why not offer them up as payment, after all we're all on here because we all share an interest in the same sport, so offering pads is just as good as money to most. JD™
Much better without the lower opacity ones behind. disagreed, and not just because I suggested it, I think without it looks far too plain...
JonMack
Fair enough, I just dislike that font, and think with something behind it makes it even more illegible.
Mark W
How well would the lower opacity stuff come out on a T-shirt anyway?
JD™
Fair enough, I just dislike that font, and think with something behind it makes it even more illegible. having looked at it properly full size now I can see what you mean. I think his idea is the best so far, but it needs something else as far as I'm concerned. No-ones sticking to the brief at the moment either, he said that going with: heatsink bikes.com would be the way to go, and that a square graphic is what he's after... I so wish I had access to some tools for this
Haz
How well would the lower opacity stuff come out on a T-shirt anyway? Lighter shade of whatever colour it was meant to be.
Mark W
Yeah, I know they'd do it like that, I just meant I wouldn't have thought it would've had the same sort of impact as it would do on a screen.
Andy P
If you're going to use "heatsinkbikes" as the crankarm, why not use the www..com as the pedal? Quick 5 second MS paint job as I'm at work just to show you what I mean... Of course with better font etc.. Someone do that with the www. and .com at an angle so it looks less regimented?
Andy P
Liking! Someone do that with the www. and .com at an angle so it looks less regimented? Yeah I was going to do it angled but as I say it was on MS Paint which dosent like anything but right angles lol. Couldn't be arsed to open corel draw on this dinosaur of a pc... Elliot
also: My 2 cents (seeing as I have no design ability of my own!): I recon there should only be 1 heatsinkbikes behind rather than 2, but it should be larger so its partially underneath the www & .com
