N Roach
Hi, I am thinking of entering the Competition at Rochdale. Just wanted to know: What is the venue like, is it all rocks or just mud, Stumps and roots? Is it worth traveling the many miles to ride at this venue? Any videos or pictures of the venue? walker
haha, your into lancashire, its no southern venue! There is mud if its particularly wet, otherwise its grippy quarry rock, check out the Vincent UK ride pics from rochdale. Andrew

Andrew Yes, that's the one thing I don't not like about the South, the venues down here are made of mud and roots which isn't nice in the wet. I know there are some amazing venues up North but I had not heard of this venue before.

Ali C
REALLY good in the dry, mostly sharp grippy rocks, fairly easy to puncture, so bring some spare tubes. If its wet then its particually slippery. (this is Lee Mill quarry, where the trials park is getting made btw)

Would be good to see what progress has taken place at the park.
