Right just wanted some guidence etc. Im going to apply for a job, just through the summer in a bike warehouse. Just stuck for

what to write. I no that i need to put in my cv, which ive done etc and a personal statement but what else on top needs to go in ?

Any things that you think needs to go into the personal statment ? Or tips... ?

Mines abit boring and sounds plain, anyone got any templates or anything like that they have been given in the past ?

You need:

1.) a specific C.V (alot of people hand in a general one saying that they acheived gold in their school olympics, they don't wanna know that they wanna know why you should have the job and not the other guy)

2.) Personal statement again (this should be specific to the job)

3.) A letter explaining why you want the job and why your the best man fo the job so Bob (other applicant) can drop dead as he cannot multi task or lick his toes or somthing.

4.) Always hand them to the manager (your new boss), this stops any applications being left at the front desk and you also make a big impression. Dress appropriatly (SP) and ensure your polite and friendly.

5.)ensure your number/adress/e-mail is somewhere on these pieces of paper (should be on your C.V)

And hey presto all you have to do is sit and wait after that young man :)
