Adam_3
I'm going to order my new front brake this week, and it's a toss between an Avid code5 or an '08 juicy7. Was just wondering if any of you guys use these and could advise me on their performance. Thanks in advance for any help.
James Shields
hi, i would recommend an avid bb7, not over expensive and seriously good when set up correctly if not, i run a hope mono trial and they are also awesome !, i think part of this comes down to personal choice/ personal preference. james
spartan
The code is nice and grabby but its pretty heavy. The juicy is really nice in the wet but not so much when its try. Just get the bb7 its like pretty much the best. The mono trials is nice but its kinda pricey.
El Cristoff
If you want to roll and stop, get a hope. If you want to stop dead, get a BB7
Alex@Flawless Bikes
203mm BB7 more stopping power then you will ever need!
The Hitcher
203mm BB7 more stopping power then you will ever need! Exactly, too much. Get a 180 BB7, you wont need to buy another front brake again.

Adam Fisher
If you want to roll and stop, get a hope. If you want to stop dead, get a BB7 100 % agree. bought hope m4 for £85. load of expensive rubish , all it did was roll and stop. got a bb7 for £35 and out does the hope in every way ! Adam_3
All good advice thanks, although i planned on some hydraulics i now think i may try the bb7's, but as my rims are only 24" i wonder if the 185's may look a tad too big so will probs end up with 160mm (will these produce enough power for me????) It's going on my inspired which is 24" but was just wondering if it will give me enough power as it's the smallest bb7
