spartan
If you grind your rims then obviously it will come off. If your running a smooth rim with tar then it will eventually flake off but it takes a while. Which rims do you have, if their white then it dont matter cuz silver and while look almost the same. Krisboats
If you paint it yourself then yeah, it will come off and pretty quickly at that. Even anodising gets worn off and thats colour embedded in the metal, although this takes slightly longer.
Onzaboycharlie
If your brakes are rubbing... I recommend setting them up EDIT: If you want to paint them properly. It would end up costing more than a new rim www.tartybikes.co.uk Edited June 7, 2008 by Onzaboycharlie
Echo-Scott
If your going to paint yourself it will flake off after a little while. You could just re-paint it though after the paint comes off.
