Crazyman
Hi guys!!! I would like to buy a new rear fixed hub on my mod bike. What's the best? And why this... Thanks.
eskimo
Echo 08 i'd say. More bearings this time and have easy changeable sprocket setup. They come with a choice of one sprocket and snail cams so for the money it's great.
Crazyman
I also think that echo 08 is really nice hubs....And what about Try-All "H" 116 Hub and Monty Rear Disc Hub?
jono_misfits
If you could afford it then you can never go wrong with a Chris King, otherwise i would recommend the Monty 219 or the VIZ.

Well you could go wrong, considering they don't make a fixed rear hub. Go Echo '
spartan
Yeah for the money the echos are the best for sure. I hear the profiles are nice but ive never used one. The surly rear hubs are great and cheap but im not sure if they come with a 116 spacing. Its pretty hard to f up a single speed hub though. echo *** here people!! Crazyman
Oh thanks to all for the advices!! Ok, I understand that the echo 08 is good rear hubs but what's about Try-All "H" 116 Hub and Monty Rear Disc Hub? Echo is better than this hubs? p.s:I wouldn't like to use freehubs because chris king isn't a my choice
Muel
It has to be the Try-All H, failing that the Monty TI.
JB1
I'd go for the Echo 08, works perfectly, looks great and is cheaper than the Try-all H.
forteh
I'd go for the Echo 08, works perfectly, looks great and is cheaper than the Try-all H. Also twice the weight, depends if youre a weight weenie really
Maximus
The best for the price is a onza t-master, good, strong, smooth hubs cheap at £30 half the price of other seald hubs. (dont get them confused with the t-pro hub) - if price is no object then try-all 'H' is the hub of choise!
Crazyman
Grand thanks to all for the advices!!! Well...there are two good rear fixed hubs-try all and Echo...What the best between them? I think it's echo
SuperDeathMonkey
I got a monty 221ti hub. damn smooth and pretty strong, had no problems with it. If your buying a rear fixed you may aswell just get the cheapest out of the better few. The monty hub is only 60 something pounds on trials-uk. I'd recommend it. JB1
Also twice the weight, depends if youre a weight weenie really Fair point! I don't tend to worry to much about it. I grew up riding old school triple clamp fork Monty's which were fairly lumpy compared to modern decent spec mods.
