anzo
Ahhh, I think I've found my next bike Could you get me some photos of the rear brake mounts? What exactly is wrong with them? Edit: And do I spy a rear disc mount? Edited June 3, 2008 by anzo
Revolver
Ahhh, I think I've found my next bike Could you get me some photos of the rear brake mounts? What exactly is wrong with them? Edit: And do I spy a rear disc mount? IT'S MINE One of the brake mounts is fine, the other is welded on in such a way that when you tighten the clamp, it pulls the piston out of line and you get one end of the pad very close to the rim, and one further away. And yes, its got a disc mount, dual disc is on its way. Good luck finding one though, they're discontinued, and the people who have them seem to be keeping hold of them. I've only seen two for sale, and this is one of them!
Revolver
More comments would be appreciated One of the cranks wobbles, should I get a new one, or a new set of cranks completely?
Nick Harding
either shim it with a coke can for a temp bodge, or snap the bugger, send it back to middleburn and they will replace it.
Revolver
How do you do that? Do you cut strips and put them in each spline, or do you cut one big ring and put that in?

Revolver
Can't wait til I've got new wheels and stuff for it. I've got a can for it now What should I do when I want a more permanent fix though? Middleburns are the best cranks, AFAIK, but they're expensive because of it. I don't really want to downgrade though. Can you get middleburn cranks individually?
